2022 Watch List (DL)
Mansfield Sr DL/LB Chase Moser-44tk 12TFL 2.5sacks 1int
Moser is one of the best players to ever play on the defensive side of the ball for Mansfield. Over the course of his career, he has excelled at defensive tackle, defensive end, and outside linebacker. His versatility and experience are a valuable asset for the Mansfield defense. Expect Moser to play all over for the Mansfield defense this year. Moser could be due for a record-breaking season as he returns as one of the best defensive players in the league.

Army Sr DL Brendan Windsor- 35tk 10TFL 5.5sacks
Windsor is a force on the interior of the defensive line. A strong frame and high motor make him difficult to block 1 on 1. Windsor continues a strong tradition of high-level play from the defensive line at Army. Going into his final season Windsor will be one of the unquestioned leaders of the Army defense and without a doubt one of the best defensive linemen in the league. I expect Windsor to lead Army in TFL and possible sacks as he looks to finish his career on a high note.
STAC Sr DL Malik Lucas-33tk 7.5TFL 6sacks
Lucas returns for his senior season as one of the best defensive players suiting up for STAC. With the graduation of STAC all-time great DE/LB Tyreke Smith, Lucas will be the leader of the STAC defensive line. Lucas plays with an infectious energy and high motor that jumps off the screen whenever you tune into a STAC game. There should be a lot of offensive line attention given to Lucas this year, but despite that I expect him to finish the season near the top of every defensive statistical category for defensive linemen this season.

Navy Jr DL Devyn Martin – 36tk 11TFL 6sacks
Martin finished last season with a bang as Navy won the CSFL Championship. In his final two games he accumulated 21tackles 7.5TFL and 5.5sacks. That was over half of his total season production! With so many defensive players gone due to graduation Martin will be one of the catalysts for the Navy defense. If Martin can be consistent with his production and impact, then Navy could have one of the brightest defensive line stars in the league.
