Army v Navy: Navy win 28-21

Player of the game: Sr RB Alex Totta 193yards 2TD 1rec 12yards

Navy came back from a 14-0 deficit to win the 2022 CSFL Championship. Jr QB Brandon Atwood had a solid game throwing for 101 yards 1TD and adding 17yards on the ground with 1TD. The hero of the day was none other than Sr RB Alex Totta who ran for a monstrous 193yards 2TD. A late 40yard run sealed the game for Navy and was a spectacular final play for the all-time great running back.  Totta finishes his career with 1722 rushing yards and 28 rushing TD. Totta has the 2nd most rushing yards in Navy history and is tied for the most rushing touchdowns in Navy history. Defensively, Sr LB Paul Kuehler led the team in tackles with 10. Jr DB Dante Carrasco led the secondary with 5tk 1int 1pbu. Navy finishes the season as the 2022 CSFL champion.

Army took an early 14-0 lead but couldn’t hang on to secure the victory. Jr QB Mikal Willeke only threw for 78 yards with 1int. The driver of the offense in this game was star receiver Donovan Mannion who led the team in rushing yards with 70 and receiving yards with 56 on 6 receptions. Mannion closes out his career with the 4th most receiving TD in Army history and 4th most receptions in Army history. Traye Carson had an electrifying run as a wildcat QB in the game that gave Army the lead. He also had 4rec for 22yards. The defense was led by Jr LB Michael Sullivan and Jr LB Luke Gigliotti. Sullivan had 13tk 2tfl and Gigliotti had 11tk. Army finishes their season with a 6-2 record.
