Raymond has been a star for Mansfield since his first game as a freshman. The now seasoned signal caller should have another incredible season as Mansfield heads into another year in their most successful era in program history. In just two season Raymond has or is close to breaking every Mansfield career passing and rushing record with him already having many records for game and season highs in both categories. As an ever improving passer and lethal runner Raymond is a focal point for every defense that he sees. If one of the Mountaineers receivers can develop into a top tier guy on the outside and the young players can compliment Sr ATH Terrance Quaker as a top threat then Raymond could have even more ridiculous numbers this season.

Navy Sr Brandon Atwood- 2022 1067passing yards 9TD 1int 322rushing yards 5TD

Atwood has quickly become the best quarterback Navy has had in quite some time. While they have had productive guys they haven’t had a QB who could sling it like this in a years. You could see the level of player he was even in his sophomore season, unfortunately that was cut short due to injury. But Atwood has since bounced back and has become a major catalyst in Navy’s success post pandemic. Atwood is also capable as a runner and not just in the redzone. He has a sturdy frame and will bring it to incoming defenders especially during critical moments. With star Sr WR Andrew Margiotta as his main target Atwood should be in for a huge senior season.

Army Sr Mikal Willeke- 2022 1768passing yards 16TD 6int 75rushing yards 5TD

Willeke like some of his peers is one of the best quarterbacks to ever suit of for his school. Army has struggled to find a great QB since Kegan West graduated in 2015. They solved that problem and then some with Mikal Willeke. His talent was so undeniable Army benched former QB JC Watson during his final game in the CSFL championship game a few years ago. Willeke has a strong arm and can really push the ball down the field with the best of them. He made spectacular throws throughout the season which put a lot of pressure on opposing defensive backs even when they had good coverage. It remains to be seen who will step up and replace the production of WR Donovan Mannion but whoever it is will have one of the best quarterbacks in all of sprint football.

Caldwell Sr Frank DeMaio – 2022 908passing yards 9TD 7int 148rushing yards 4TD

DeMaio has been at the helm for the best years of Caldwell football to date. The converted wide receiver has been the steady hand Caldwell has needed to really turn the corner. A great running game allows DeMaio to use play action to his advantage to find his explosive group of receivers led by Sr Jeremy Colon & Soph Donovan Swasey. Despite not being near the top for rushing yards for quarterbacks DeMaio is still very much a threat with his legs. With DeMaio heading into his final season with a balanced offense and plenty of returning defensive starters he could have the best season for a quarterback in Caldwell’s history.

STAC Jr Ryan Kenny-2022 716passing yards 8TD 3int 105rushing yards.

STAC got off to a hot start last season with Ryan Kenny getting his first chance to start. Unfortunately an injury derailed the moment STAC had after getting their first program win against Penn. The Spartans struggled to score points in his absence but ended up winning two out of their last three games once he returned. Kenny heading into the season healthy is one of the major reasons for optimism at STAC. A defense with emerging stars should give Kenny and the Spartan offense plenty of chances to produce. It will be interesting to see how far both Kenny and STAC can go the season.
