Names to know:QB
(MSFL) SMWC Jr Jeremiah Tosky-2023 1890yards 17TD 12int 203rushing yards 6TD
In his first year in the MSFL Jr QB Jeremiah Tosky had one of the most prolific seasons in sprint football history. His 1890yards are the 4th most all time in a season and his 17TD were tied for the 7th most all time in a season. During the season Tosky also had a game where he threw for 419yards which is good for the 3rd most all time. The star gunslinger plays with an infectious level of confidence mixed with attributes every coach would want in their quarterback. Tosky has shown a willingness to use his legs as well. He can run when the situation calls for it but he is at his most dangerous when he is extending plays. Tosky should be due for another huge year coming off of a trip to the MSFL title game and his first year with the program.
(CSFL) STAC Sr Ryan Kenney-2023 1460yards 17TD 5int
Last season Kenney led the Spartans to their most successful season in program history. Part of the reason the team was so successful was the high level of play from Kenney. He finished the season with career highs in passing yards and passing touchdowns. Kenney is a big bodied QB with one of if not the strongest arm in the game. He can push the ball down the field and he has enough touch to fit the ball into tight windows. STAC will need a lot from Kenney this year with most of his receiving core moving on due to graduation. It will be a test for Kenney this year but I expect the Sr QB to rise to the occasion in his last go around.

(CSFL) Mansfield Sr Cahsid Raymond-2023 786yards 5TD 3int 568rushing yads 6TD
In a “down” year for Raymond he still finished the year as one of the most exciting players in sprint football. Raymond had career lows in passing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns. Despite that Raymond still led the Mountaineers to a winning record. Heading into this season a rejuvenated Raymond will be the engine that drives the MU offense. Cahsid’s tall lean frame gives him a great range of vision when surveying the field. A big arm paired with elite speed and evasiveness make him a nightmare for defenders. Raymond will finish his career as the most explosive runner at the QB position that sprint football has ever seen. Couple that with all of his passing accolades and Cahsid will go down as one of the best players in sprint football history. Expect Mansfield to utilize all of his talents as Raymond heads into his final season.
(CSFL) CHC Jr Anthony Cancellare-2023 952yards 8TD 9int
The Griffins have a offense that is right on the cusp of a breakthrough. At the helm for the CHC offense is Jr signal caller Anthony Cancellare. The rising Jr has been an interesting prospect since his first year with CHC. While things have not always gone his way Cancellare has shown flashes of promise. With CJ Small gone due to graduation the burden of excellence now falls solely on the shoulders of Cancellare. A quick release and nice touch have been the best aspects of Cancellare’s game so far in his career. He will need to cut down on the turnovers, the rising Jr has yet to throw more touchdowns than interceptions in a season. However with the explosive receivers the Griffins have Cancellare could turn the corner this year and lead the Griffins to a winning season. I believe Cancellare will have a breakthrough year and become one of the best quarterbacks in sprint football.

(MSFL) CCSJ Jr Nino Barbosa-2023 401yards 5TD 3int 229rushing yards 6TD
Barbosa is maybe the most intriguing name on this list. As I have mentioned before he flipped from his defensive position at safety to QB after the Crimson Wave dropped the first 3 games of the season. Once Barbosa was at the helm he brought a level of confidence and poise that CCSJ was missing. Barbosa showed he has more than enough touch and arm strength to be one of the top QB’s in the game. In his few games at QB he made difficult throws at all three levels. The other element to his game that separates him from his peers is his ability to dominate the game with his legs. Similar to Mansfield’s Cahsid Raymond, Barbosa has the ability to extend plays to find a receiver streaking across the field or take off and run for huge chunks of yardage. If Barbosa is the QB again this season for the Wave he has the chance to be even more dangerous now that he has a whole off season to improve his QB skills.
