Names to know: QB
(MSFL) SMWC Sr Jeremiah Tosky 2024 stats: 2022yards 21TD 6int
Tosky is looking to wrap up what has been an amazing career in sprint football. How fitting that it will be SMWC last year in the MSFL. The following season SMWC will join the NAIA in the MSFA(Mid-West Football Association). Before that however the Pomeroys hope to end this season as MSFL champs and Tosky will be a big part of that. The seasoned QB has a live arm with the touch and IQ to make throws at all three levels. The passing game will be a little different due to the teams two leading receivers leaving the program, however with Tosky at the helm the Pomeroys will always be in a position to win games.

(CSFL) Army Jr Kyle West 2024 stats: 1429yards 18TD 4int
West was given the reigns as the starting QB last season and didn’t look back. The sharp pocket passer was able to methodically distribute the ball to his receivers all over the field. With another season of experience under his belt West should be in for an even greater season this year. Even with his two leading receivers moving on West’s ability to deliver the ball with timing and accuracy make it so anyone can line up at receiver for Army and be effective. Expect a big year 3 for the Black Knight’s QB.

(MSFL) CCSJ Sr Nino Barbosa 2024 stats: 918yards 9TD 8int 324rushing yards 9TD
Barbosa is the most electrifying QB in sprint football this year. I would describe watching him play as an experience. There may be guys who throw for more yards or touchdowns but few players can match the sheer unpredictability and explosiveness that Barbosa plays with. He can let it rip going deep and has the touch to make plays on the intermediate level. He biggest value comes from his ability to extend plays or take things into his own hands. He has a knack for making rushers miss then either taking off down field or finding a open receiver. Barbosa should have a masterful season with it being his last at the helm for CCSJ.

(CSFL) CHC Sr Anthony Cancellare 2024 stats: 863yards 10TD 8int
Cancellare has been the lead man for the Griffins since his freshmen season. With that has come a lot of growth as he and the team went through the ups and downs of trying to be one of the best teams in the CSFL. Now a seasoned vet Cancellare has everything lined up for a great final season. Sharp delivery and a quick release allow Cancellare to fit the ball into tight windows. He also has a knack for throwing his receivers open allowing them to get yards after the catch. With a strong team returning Cancellare should close out what has been a strong career for the Griffins.

(CSFL) Mansfield Soph Marcus Quaker 2024 stats: 582yards 4TD 4int 176rushing yards 7TD /(CSFL) Caldwell Soph Josh Smith 2024 stats: 708yards 6TD 7int 446rushing yards 5TD
The last spot goes to last years CSFL Rookie of the Year QB Josh Smith and Mansfield’s QB of the future Marcus Quaker. Both were able to make immediate impact for each of their programs. Quaker showed that he will be a force for years to come at Mansfield. With limited reps he was able to show off his arm and IQ consistently making the right reads and using his legs to make plays especially in the redzone. Smith showed that he may be the next great athletic QB to come through sprint football. He has a lot of similar traits that make a guy like Nino Barbosa deadly. Smith had some of the most impressive runs of the season last year and showed off a developing arm. These two young quarterbacks are the future of the CSFL and will be fun to watch this season.
