Navy v CHC: Navy win 28-17
Player of the game- Navy Jr RB Hunter Gennicks 276yards 3TD 1rec 5yards 1TD
Navy came away with a victory due to the spectacular performance of star running back Hunter Gennicks. The star back had one of the greatest games in sprint football history. Gennicks ran for a staggering 276yards 3TD. That performance is good for the 4th most in a game in sprint football history. Gennicks also added a receiving touchdown. The big game from Gennicks made up for a lack of offense from the passing game and other ball carriers. Jr QB Luke O’Connell threw for 5yards 1TD. The Navy defense was led by Sr LB Jake Wolinski who led the team with 13tk 1tfl 1pbu. Jr DL Mick Tabor added 8tk 2.5tfl 1sack 2fr. Navy stays home again for a matchup with Molloy.
CHC had the lead at the end of the 1st half, but turnovers and a strong Navy rushing game was too much to overcome. Sr QB Anthony Cancellare threw for 173yards 1int. Cancellare also punched in 1 rushing touchdown with 39yards. Star running back Soph RB Xaiver Limehouse was effective but limited. He led the team on the ground with 67yards 1TD. Sr TE Miles Coats led the team with 2rec 59yards. Defensively Soph LB Torey Moore led the Griffins with 11tk. Soph LB Riley Stidham followed up with 10tk 0.5tfl. CHC heads home to take on Penn.
Army v Cornell: Army win 49-9
Player of the game- Jr QB Kyle West 188yards 4TD 11rushing yards 1TD
Army jumped out to an early lead and kept things rolling. Jr QB Kyle West threw for 188yards 4TD. West also added 1 rushing touchdown to complete his efficient night. Soph RB Gabriel Bolivar led the team with 68rushing yards 1TD. Soph WR Carson McFadden and Jr WR Parker Williams were the top receiving threats in the game. The pair combined for 6rec 114yards 3TD. On defense the Black Knights held Cornell down for most of the night. The defense limited Cornell to a FG in the first half and a touchdown late in the game. Sr LB Louis Petkus led the team with 7tk 0.5tfl 0.5sack. Jr DL Cameron Allen led the way upfront ending the game with 5tk 2.5tfl 2sacks. Army stays on the road to visit Caldwell next week.
Cornell continues to search for their first win of the season. Jr QB Stefano Luis threw for 163yards 1TD. Stefano did the best he could behind an offensive line that gave up 5 sacks. Sr RB Anthony Rambino led the team in rushing with 41yards. On the outside Cornell was led by Jr TE Andrew Lay who had a team high 6rec 52yards 1TD. On defense the leader for Cornell was Jr DB Kruz Meier who led the team with 10tk 3.5tfl 1pbu. Cornell continues to make steady improvements as the season goes on but they are still trying to put together a complete performance to secure their first win. Cornell hits the road next week to take on Mansfield.
Mansfield v STAC: Mansfield wins 34-18
Player of the game-Fr Weston Bellows 75passing yards 2TD 59rushing yards 1TD
Despite being down their star player, Soph QB Marcus Quaker, Mansfield was able to perform on both sides of the ball to claim the victory. Fr Weston Bellows who has been the teams lead running back got the nod at QB and did not disappoint. Bellows led the team with 75 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air and was the team’s leading rusher with 59yards with 1 touchdown on the ground. Sr WR Eli Swan led the team on the outside with 2rec 52yards. On defense the Mountaineers were led by Soph LB Jackson Taylor who had a team high 7tk 0.5tfl. Mansfield heads home to take on Cornell.
STAC was able to make some big plays to close the gap, but they weren’t able to get the victory. Soph QB Tynez Harp had one of his most efficient games of the season. Harp led the Spartans with 145yards 2TD. The most explosive player for STAC was Fr ATH Treyvon Washington who led the team on the ground with 52yards. Washington also took a kick return back 85yards to the house. To add to that Washington was the team’s second leading receiver with 3rec 50yards 1TD. Soph WR Aron Cruz made an impact leading the team with 2rec 61yards 1TD. On defense the Spartans did everything they could to stop the bleeding. Fr DB Luigi Biondolillo led the team with 18tk. Sr DL Ibrahim Conteh followed up with 12tk 1tfl. STAC hits the bye before they take on Army
Caldwell v Molloy: Caldwell win 40-7
Player of the game- Soph LB Damian Tarves 11tk 1tfl 1sack 1ff 1fr
After a scoreless first quarter the Cougars scored 40 unanswered points to put the Lions away. Sr QB Jameil Lawrence threw for 120yards 3TD. The Cougars have benefited from Lawrence’s development and progress as a quarterback. Sr RB Curt McDougald led the team on the ground with 84rushing yards 1TD. As a team Caldwell was able to turn out 253yards on the ground. Sr WR Ajurn Petgrave was the team’s leading receiver with 3rec 58yards 1TD. The Cougars offense played an all-around game, but the tone was set by the defense. Soph LB Damien Tarves led the way with 11tk 1tfl 1sack 1ff 1fr. Fr LB Hector Lopez added 6tk 2tfl 2sack 1fr. Jr DB JJ Hinnant ended the game with 1tk 2int. Caldwell heads home to take on Army next week.
Molloy showed some flashes on offense, but they could not play consistent enough to claw their way back into this one. The Lions used two quarterbacks in this game. Fr Will Spell and Jr Paulie Drummond. The pair ending the game with a combined 170yards 1TD 3int. Fr RB Ryan Downes led the team on the ground with 35yards. The leading receiver for the Lions was Sr Peter von Schoenermarck who ended the game with 6rec 121yards 1TD. Schoenermarck has been the most consistent force for the Lions offense this season. Defensively Molloy struggled to stop the Cougars offense. Fr DB Ayden Das led the team with 7tk 1tfl. Molloy hits the road to take on Navy next week.

Bellarmine vs Oakland City: Bellarmine win 45-7
Player of the game- Sr RB Brenden Reid 200yards 2TD
The Knights used a strong running game to wear down a young Oakland City team. Fr QB Dylan Morris threw for 43yards 1TD. The young quarterback seams to play better when there is less responsibility on his plate. The main catalyst of the offense for Bellarmine was none other than star running back Brenden Reid. The standout runner led the team with 200yards 2TD. That was Reid’s 3rd career 200yard rushing game. The leading receiver for Bellarmine was Fr TE Aiden Bratcher with 2rec 22yards 1TD. On defense Sr DB Gavin Brazzell led the way with 6tk. Sr DB Lance Weiter added 4tk 1tfl 1sack. Bellarmine hits the road next week to take on CCSJ.
Oakland City continues to struggle as they search for their first win of the season. Fr QB Canton Wilson got the start for the Oaks. Wilson threw for 81yards 1TD 2int. The leading rusher was Jr RB Robert Lamar who finished with 43yards. Soph WR Brendle Brennan was the leading receiver with 2rec 37yards 1TD. On defense Oakland City could not stop the lethal Bellarmine running game. Soph DB Jarvis Starks-Scott led the team with 7tk 1tfl. Oakland City stays on the road to go visit Midway next week.
Midway vs Quincy: Midway win 59-22
Player of the game- Soph QB Christian Carter 305yards 4TD 1int 17rushing yards
The Midway offense continues to terrorize opposing defenses. Soph QB Christian Carter had another great game throwing for 305yards 4TD. Carter is on pace to have one of the most prolific seasons in sprint football history. Fr RB Demari Edelen led the team on the ground with 64yards 1TD. The dynamic trio of receivers continues to show out for the Eagles. Fr WR Quincy Barber led the team with 11rec 167yards. Soph WR Ayden Bauwens had 6rec 91yards 1TD. Soph WR Chase Williams added 7rec 67yards 1TD. On defense Midway rebounded from a poor first quarter. Soph LB Kaleb Chase led the team with 7tk. Fr DL Tristan Euell added 6tk 2.5tfl. Sr DB Preston Moore impacted with game with 4tk 2int 1pbu. Midway heads home to take on Oakland City.
Quincy started this game out strong, but they couldn’t match Midway’s explosive firepower. Jr QB Duece Allaway got the start and threw for 110yards 1TD 2int. Soph QB Ethan Harrison added 9yards 1TD 2int. Fr RB Harold Williams spearheaded the rushing attack with 30yards 1TD. Jr TE Evan Lopez led the receiving core with 3rec 43yards. On defense standout Sr LB Donnell Packer had another productive day leading the team with 12tk 1tfl 1int 1pbu. Packer is on pace to set the record for most tackles in a season in sprint football history. Jr DB Thomas Murray added 10tk 2pbu. Quincy stays home to compete against SMWC next week.
