Cornell v Penn: Cornell win 31-14

Player of the game- Fr WR Kyle Melkonian 29passing yards 58rushing yards 1TD 6rec 67yards

Cornell fought back from an early first quarter deficit to get a good win against their rival Penn. Jr QB Stefano Luis led the team from the helm throwing for 140yards 1TD 2int. The rushing attack was led by Sr RB Anthony Rambino who led the team with 92yards 1TD. Fr WR Kyle Melkonian was the x-factor that gave Cornell the edge. They playmaker threw for 29yards, ran for 58yards 1TD, and caught 6rec for 67yards. Melkonian’s versatility was an invaluable asset for Cornell. On defense Soph DL Ben Roerden led the way with 10tk 2.5tfl 1sack. Sr LB Alexei DiDonato added 4tk 2.5tfl 1sack 1int. Cornell ends their season with a 1-7 record.

Penn had things rolling early but their offensive struggles and lack of stops on defense proved to be the difference in this game. Jr DB Josh Johnson played QB again for the Quakers. He was accompanied by Fr Luke Sharp. The pair combined for 207yards 2TD 4int. 4 different rushers contributed to the Quakers 36yard night on the ground. Sr WR Jake Wang led the air attack with 6rec 108yards 1TD. Defensively the Penn defense, especially the line backers, did all they could to stop the bleeding. Soph LB Colin Cross led the team with 16tk 1tfl 1int. Fr LB Hugh Maley added 15tk 3tfl. Penn finishes their season with a 2-6 record.


CHC v STAC: CHC win 41-0

Player of the game- Sr QB Anthony Cancellare 276yards 3TD 1int & Soph RB Xavier Limehouse 162yards 2TD 2rec 13yards 1TD

CHC took a commanding early lead and never looked back. Sr QB Anthony Cancellare was sharp in his final game. He threw for 276yards 3TD 1int. Not to be out done Soph RB Xavier Limehouse had a big impact on the game as well. The young runner led the team with 162yards 2TD. Limehouse also add 1 receiving touchdown as well. On the outside Fr WR Ronnell Wheeler had the best game of his career leading the team with 102yards 1TD on 2rec. On the defensive side of the ball the Griffins were able to completely shut down the Spartans. Soph LB Trevon Hodnett led the team with 6tk 1tfl. Jr DB Andre Cancellare locked down the secondary ending the night with 1tk 1int 3pbu. CHC ends their season with a 5-3 record.

The Spartans struggled on both sides of the ball in their final game of the season. Soph QB Tynez Harp threw for 33yards 2int. The running game wasn’t any more productive. As a team the Spartans ended the night with 23yards between 8 rushers. Sr TE Nickolas Simonetta led the team in receiving with 3rec 29yards. On the defensive side of the ball the Spartans could not do much to stop the Griffins offensive output. Jr LB Brandon Jimenez led the team with 12tk. Sr DB Ethan Hence followed up with 10tk. STAC ends their season with a 2-6 record.


Mansfield v Molloy: Mansfield win 56-13

Player of the game- Fr RB Weston Bellows 67passing yards 1TD 100rushing yards 1TD 3rec 31yards

Once Mansfield broke the seal midway through the first quarter the Mountaineers could not be stopped. Soph QB Marcus Quaker returned to his usual self in the final game of the season. Quaker ended the night with 218yards 4TD 1int. The catalyst for the Mountaineers all season was star Fr RB Weston Bellows, and this game was no different. The impact freshman threw for 67yards 1TD, ran for 100yards 1TD, and caught 3rec for 31yards. Bellows was one of the most versatile and impactful players in sprint football this season. Jr WR Jerry Holmes led the receiving core with 2rec 74yards 2TD. On defense Mansfield suffocated the Lions. Soph LB Jackson Taylor led the team with 10tk 1.5tfl. Mansfield ends their season with a 6-2 record.

Molloy fought with all their might but could not overcome a more experienced Mansfield team. Jr QB Paulie Drummond led things for the Lions. Drummond ended the night with 153yards 1TD 1int. Sr David Digiovanni led the team in rushing with 43yards. Sr WR Peter von Schoenermarck led the team on the outside with 6rec 80yards 1TD. Defensively the Lions made some plays, but it was not enough to get things going in the right direction. Soph LB Anthony Disalvo led the team with 9tk 1tfl. Soph DB D’Angelo Cabrera added 4tk 2int. Molloy ends their season with a 1-7 record.


Navy v Army: Navy win 20-17

Player of the game- Jr RB Hunter Gennicks 137yards 2rec 11yards

Navy used their tough running game and stout defense to outlast Army in this tightly contested overtime game. Jr QB Luke O’Connell threw for 149yards 2TD 1int. The running game was led by star RB Hunter Gennicks. The talented back led the team with 137yards on the ground. Some tough Gennicks runs led to crucial points first downs in this game. Soph WR Jake Berger led the team through the air with 6rec 79yards 1TD. The Navy defense showed up through critical points in this game. Sr LB Jake Wolinski led the way with 9tk 1.5tfl. Sr LB Seamas Carrasco added 8tk 2pbu. Navy ends their season 8-0 and are the 2025 CSFL Champions.

Army had every chance to win this game, but the Black Knights came up short. Jr QB Kyle West threw for 174yards 1TD 2int. West was also the team’s leading rusher with 14yards 1TD. West’s rushing TD was the much-needed score that sent the game in OT. Soph WR Carson McFadden was the team’s leading receiver with 5rec 68yards. On defense Army made plays but it was not enough to escape with the victory. Jr LB Jake Oxendine led the team with 11tk 2tfl 1sack. Jr DL Cameron Allen followed up with 5tk 1.5tfl 1.5sacks. Army ends their season with a 7-1 record.


MSFL

SMWC v CCSJ: SMWC win 33-6

Player of the game- Sr QB Jeremiah Tosky 169yards 1TD 1int 21rushing yards

SMWC came away victorious in this final meeting between these two rivals. Sr QB Jeremiah Tosky ended his career on a high note throwing for 169yards 1TD 1int and adding 21yards on the ground. Fr RB Zy’Eiar White led the team on the ground with 74yards 2TD. Jr RB Derron Hazzard followed up with 48yards 1TD. Sr WR Corbyn Cleveland led the way in his final game of his career. Cleveland ended the game with 3rec 84yards. On defense the Pomeroys gave CCSJ a tough time all night. The SMWC defense limited the Crimson Wave offense to just 8 first downs all game. Sr DB Elias DeJesus led the way with 8tk 0.5tfl 1pbu. Soph LB Adonimi Parker and Sr LB Bryton Suggs combined for 12tk 2tfl 2pbu. The Pomeroys closed out the game with a 97yard kick return TD from Sr DB Kerry Lacey. SMWC ends their season 8-0 and are the 2025 MSFL Champions.

CCSJ had a tough time in all three phases of the game. Soph QB Zayne Guthrie and Jr QB Destry Peoples both had their time at the helm. The pair combined for 139yards. The CCSJ running game had some tough sledding with 5 rushers contributing to 4 total yards on the ground. The lone score came from Sr RB Detrick Merriweather. Sr ATH Nino Barbosa led the receiving core with 4rec 43yards. On defense the Crimson Wave stars fought to stop the bleeding. Sr LB Trevor Busses led the team with 18tk 2tfl 1sack 1ff 1fr 1pbu. Sr LB Alexander Dellaechaie added 13tk 2.5tfl 2sacks 1pbu. Sr LB Jared Cottrell ended the game with 11tk 2tfl. CCSJ ends their season with a 6-2 record.
