Penn vs Molloy: Penn wins 28-6
Player of the Game: Fr RB Dante Coury 136 rushing yards 2 TD
Penn bounced back in a big way after last week’s shutout loss to Army. The Quakers dominated the ground game and controlled the clock on their way to a convincing 28–6 win over Molloy. Fr. RB Dante Coury was the workhorse for Penn, finishing with a game-high 136 rushing yards and 2 TD on 30 carries. Coury continues to emerge as a reliable weapon for the Quakers’ offense. Penn finished with 221 rushing yards, and all four of its touchdowns came on the ground. Fr. QB John Franchini threw for 87 yards while adding a rushing TD. Penn dominated time of possession, holding the ball for over 39 minutes. The offensive line deserves credit for creating running lanes and helping Penn sustain several long scoring drives. The Quakers’ defense was equally impressive, holding Molloy to just 145 total yards and 6 points. Penn allowed only 41 rushing yards and six first downs throughout the game. Jack Kim led the defensive effort with 5 tk, 1 TFL, and 1 sack. Ryan Goodrich added 5 tk, while Hugh Maley contributed 3 tk and a blocked punt. Penn heads into the bye before they take on Mansfield at home.
Molloy continues to search for its first win after falling to 0-4. The Lions struggled to establish anything consistently on offense, managing only 41 rushing yards. Soph QB Anthony Caliendo threw for 69yards while Fr TE James Lipetri led the receiving corps with 6rec 49yards. The biggest bright spot for Molloy was special teams standout Jr K Timmy Stosko, who connected on field goals from 46 and 22 yards to account for all six of the Lions’ points. Defensively, Ayden Das had a busy night, leading the team with 12tk 1tfl. John Zarnowski added 11tk, and Anthony DiSalvo finished with 9tk. The Molloy defense battled throughout the game, but Penn’s relentless rushing attack and ability to control possession proved too much to overcome. Molloy heads into the bye before returning home to face D’Youville on October 23.
Army vs Mansfield: Army wins 24-7
Player of the Game: WR Carson McFadden 8rec 101yards 1TD
Army remains undefeated after a hard-fought 24-7 victory over Mansfield. Sr QB Kyle West led the offense, throwing for 211yards 2TD 2int. The Army rushing attack, which has been the team’s biggest strength this season, struggled to find the same success it had in previous weeks. Jr RB Gabriel Bolivar led the team with 51yards 1TD while Sr RB JP Ross added 31yards. With the ground game struggling, West and the passing attack stepped up when Army needed them most. Jr WR Carson McFadden had his best performance of the season, leading the receiving corps with 8rec 101yards 1TD. Soph WR Marek Arbogast also had a big night, finishing with 4rec 95yards 1TD. The Army defense held Mansfield to just 180 total yards and kept the Mountaineers scoreless after their opening touchdown. Sr LB George Donohue and Jr DL Tyrus Carter led the defense with 10tk each. Carter added 0.5tfl 0.5sack while Jr DB Jaret Bosarge contributed 7tk 2tfl 1sack. Army has a bye before traveling to face STAC on October 23.
Mansfield entered the game with one of the hottest offenses in the CSFL but struggled to find its rhythm against Army’s defense. Soph QB Joseph Frye threw for 107yards 1TD 1int. Frye connected with Sr WR Ajani Gibson for a 28-yard touchdown in the first quarter to give Mansfield an early 7-0 lead. However, the Mountaineers were unable to find the endzone again. Sr RB Weston Bellows led the team on the ground with 61yards. Gibson was the leading receiver with 2rec 31yards 1TD, while Jr WR Camryn Harwick added 2rec 29yards. Despite the offensive struggles, the Mountaineers defense put together an impressive effort. Jr LB Jackson Taylor had a monster game, finishing with a game-high 16tk 2tfl. Soph LB Jack Burbage added 10tk 2.5tfl. Soph DB Matt Machmer continued his impressive season with 2int, giving him another multi-interception performance. The Mountaineers defense kept Army within striking distance for much of the game, but the offense couldn’t capitalize on the opportunities. Mansfield will have a week off before traveling to face Penn on October 24.
Chestnut Hill vs D’Youville: Chestnut Hill wins 42-0
Player of the Game: QB Griffin Walter 143 passing yards 1TD 84 rushing yards 2TD
Chestnut Hill bounced back in dominant fashion after last week’s loss to Navy. The Griffins controlled the game from the opening possession, overwhelming the Saints with a rushing attack that produced 241 yards and 5TD. Fr QB Griffin Walter put together an impressive all-around performance throwing for 143yards 1TD 1int while adding a game-high 84 rushing yards and 2TD. Jr RB Xavier Limehouse was another major contributor, finishing with 63yards 2TD. Jr WR Winday Dawson led the receiving corps with 4rec 58yards. The Griffins finished with 393 total yards of offense and six touchdowns in one of their most complete performances of the season. The Chestnut Hill defense was just as dominant, completely shutting down a D’Youville offense that struggled to move the football throughout the game. The Griffins held the Saints to just 41 total yards, including an incredible -29 rushing yards. D’Youville managed only 70 passing yards and turned the ball over three times. Jr LB Riley Stidham led the defensive effort with 5tk 0.5tfl while Jr LB Gabriel Baker added 4tk 1tfl 1sack. The Griffins also forced two interceptions, with Sr DB Andre Cancellare and Sr DB Amir Jenkins each recording a pick. CHC hits the bye before they take on Caldwell at home.
D’Youville’s difficult inaugural CSFL season continued as the Saints fell to 0-4. The offense struggled from start to finish, finishing with just 41 total yards and failing to reach the endzone. Fr QB Cooper Bange threw for 66yards 2int. The rushing attack was completely neutralized. The Saints finished with -29 rushing yards as a team. Fr WR Drevieon Scott-Harris led the air attack with 3rec 42yards. On the defensive side of the ball several D’Youville defenders delivered strong individual performances. Fr DB Blayden Borsching led the defense with 11tk 1int, while Fr LB Jerome Zaid Jr. added 10tk 1tfl. The Saints defense spent much of the game on the field and struggled to contain Chestnut Hill’s physical rushing attack. D’Youville has the bye before they take on Molloy.
Navy vs Caldwell: Navy wins 42-0
Player of the Game: Sr RB Hunter Gennicks 146 rushing yards 2TD
Navy wasted little time establishing control, jumping out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Navy offense continued to lean heavily on its rushing attack, finishing with an impressive 335 rushing yards and 5TD. Sr QB Luke O’Connell was efficient through the air, completing 8 of 15 passes for 106yards 1TD. Sr RB Hunter Gennicks continued his outstanding season, leading the way with 146yards 2TD. Gennicks added yet another record to his name. His 2-touchdown performance now gives him 31 career rushing touchdowns which is the most ever in sprint football history. Jr RB Broderick Freeman added 90yards 2TD. The duo combined for 236 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Jr WR Andrew Daly led the receiving attack with 5rec 65yards 1TD.Navy finished with 441 total yards of offense. The Navy defense was just as impressive, keeping Caldwell off the scoreboard while forcing four turnovers. Fr DB Carson Trussell finished with 4tk 1int. Soph DL Booran Dhaba added 4tk 2tfl 1sack, while Soph LB Drake Murrell finished with 3tk 1int. Navy hits the bye before returning home to take on Cornell.
Caldwell struggled to keep pace with Navy’s explosive rushing attack. Jr ATH Josh Smith once again did everything he could to keep the Cougars competitive, finishing with 96 passing yards 1int while leading the team on the ground with 90yards. Smith was responsible for 186 of Caldwell’s 219 total yards, but the Cougars were unable to turn that production into points. Sr WR Emanuel Laluz was the Cougars leading receiver with 5rec 59yards, while Jr WR Joey Ciccotelli added 4rec 50yards. On defense the usual leaders for Caldwell stepped up to do what they could. Soph LB Hector Lopez continued his impressive season, leading the team with a game-high 13tk. Fr DL Christian Brewton added 7tk, while Sr DB JJ Hinnant contributed 5tk 1tfl. Caldwell will have a bye before traveling to face CHC.
Cornell vs STAC: Cornell win 28-24
Player of the game- Sr RB Andrew Lay 94rushing yards 2TD
Cornell leaned heavy on its rushing attack and made timely defensive plays to get their second win of the season. Fr QB Beck Berry threw for 110yards 1TD 1int. The offensive hero for the Big Red was Sr RB Andrew Lay. Lay finished the game with 94yards 2TD. Lay’s transition from tight end to running back has been a fruitful one for Cornell. The size and athleticism that made Lay an impactful tight end has translated to the backfield. Soph WR Miles Mariani was the team’s leading receiver ending the day with 3rec 86yards 1TD. On defense Sr DL Brandon Tauscher led the team with 9tk 0.5tfl 0.5sack. Soph LB Jason Milo followed up with 8tk. Fr DB Carson Ciaio had the best game of his young career finishing with 5tk 2int. Cornell heads into the bye before they take on Navy.
STAC battled with Cornell for four quarters but came up short in this north division matchup. Sr QB Jake Kear threw for 107yards 1TD 2int. The drivers of the bus for the Spartans were their two most explosive players Soph RB/WR Trevon Washington and Jr RB Damari Hamilton. Washington ended the game with 98yards 2TD on 5 carries and Hamilton added 78yards. The pair combined for 176yards on the ground. Hamilton was also effective as a receiver ending the game with 5rec 43yards 1TD. Washigton added 2rec 4yards. The dangerous duo ended the game with 223 total yards and 3TD. Despite the amazing effort from those two it was not enough for the Spartans to come away with the win. Defensively many Spartan defenders made their presence felt. Jr DB Dylan Honan led the team with 11tk. Sr DB Prince Alvarado added 10tk 1tfl 1int. Jr DL Marco Hector had a day upfront ending the game with 6tk 3tfl 1sack 1fr. STAC hits the bye before they take on Army at home.

Midway vs Bellarmine: Midway wins 81-27
Player of the Game: QB Christian Carter 436yards 5TD 28rushing yards 1TD
Midway continued its undefeated season with a record-breaking offensive performance. The Eagles exploded for 686 total yards of offense, setting a new MSFL record for total offense while their 81 points also established a new league scoring record. Jr QB Christian Carter put together one of the most impressive performances of the season finishing the game with a new school record 436yards 5TD 1int while adding 28 rushing yards 1TD. Jr WR Ayden Bauwens had a monster game, leading the team with 9rec 119yards 3TD. Jr WR Chase Williams added 8rec 119yards 1TD while Soph WR Isaiah Mattingly finished with 4rec 111yards 2TD. On the ground Jr RB Zane Wickliffe led the team with 49yards 1TD.The Eagles defense had a great day as well. Jr DL Trenton Leach led the defensive effort with a game-high 11tk 2.5tfl 2sacks. Fr DL Justin Ball added 9tk 3tfl 1sack, while Soph LB Robert Thompson contributed 7tk 1tfl. Sr DB Keegan Hill finished with 3tk 1int. Hill’s performance was another record setting effort in the game. Hill now has 14 career interceptions which makes him the leader for most interceptions in sprint football history. Midway will return home next week to face CCSJ.
Bellarmine showed some early fight against undefeated Midway but could not keep pace with the Eagles’ historic offensive performance. Fr QB Jaime Jones led the offense, throwing for 150yards 1TD 1int while adding a team-high 66 rushing yards 1TD. Soph TE Aiden Bratcher was the Knights leading receiver finishing with 2rec 50yards 1TD. Special teams provided a bright spot as Soph K Ryan Bowen connected on a program-record 49-yard field goal in the first quarter before adding a 23-yard field goal just before halftime. Defensively, the Knights struggled to contain Midway’s relentless passing attack, allowing 686 total yards and 11 offensive touchdowns. However, several defenders put together respectable individual performances despite the difficult matchup. Soph LB Derek White led Bellarmine with 8tk 1tfl 1sack, while Soph LB Matthew Hopkins added 7tk. Soph DB Da’coldus Fields contributed 6tk 2pbu. The Knights managed to keep the game competitive throughout much of the first half, but Midway’s offensive firepower proved overwhelming after halftime. Bellarmine will look to regroup before hosting Quincy next week.
CCSJ vs Quincy: CCSJ win 42-10
Player of the game- Fr QB DJ Bowles 183yards 4TD 39rushing yards
The Crimson Wave overcame a slow start before taking complete control in the second half, outscoring Quincy 35-7 over the final two quarters. QB DJ Bowles led the way for CCSJ ending the game with 183yards 4TD while adding 39 rushing yards. Bowles connected with four different receivers for touchdowns, showcasing the depth of the Crimson Wave passing attack. Jr RB Zaire Davis led the way on the ground finishing with 75 rushing yards 1TD while adding 2rec 57yards 1TD. Sr WR Tre Simmons added 2rec 55yards 1TD.The Crimson Wave finished with 431 total yards of offense. The Crimson Wave defense was equally impressive, holding Quincy to just 45 total yards of offense and an incredible -9 rushing yards. Fr DL Reggie Miller led the defensive effort with 6tk 2.5tfl 2sacks, while Soph LB CJ Wright added 6tk 3.5tfl 1sack. Calumet will face undefeated Midway next week in a highly anticipated rematch.
Quincy’s difficult season continued as the Hawks fell to 1-3 following their third consecutive loss. The Hawks managed just 45 total yards on 37 plays while finishing with -9 rushing yards. Soph QB Kiet Truong completed 2 of 3 passes for 30yards, while Jr QB Ethan Harrison added 24 passing yards but threw two interceptions. Fr Uthman Salami and Soph Brian Klingel each finished with 2rec 27yards. Quincy was unable to find the endzone offensively, with its only points coming from a 22-yard field goal by Sr K Tate Meyer in the first quarter and an 81-yard kickoff return touchdown by Soph Brian Klingel in the fourth. The Hawks’ offense struggled to sustain drives, converting 0 of 9 third-down attempts while turning the ball over four times. Despite the undesired result, several Quincy defenders delivered impressive individual performances. Gr LB Donnell Packer had a monster game, finishing with a game-high 17tk 2tfl, including 15 solo tackles. This performance ties Packer for the 7th most tackles in a game in sprint football history. Jr DB Jeremiah Almendarez-Poyser added 8tk 1tfl 2pbu. The Hawks defense managed to keep CCSJ scoreless throughout the second quarter, but the constant pressure of defending against Calumet’s balanced offensive attack eventually took its toll. The Hawks will look to regroup before traveling to face Bellarmine.
